Built in about 1500, is the oldest surviving timber-framed house in Sheffield.
Inside, it retains many of its original features and looks as it would
have done in the 17th century, giving visitors a tantalising flavour of
Tudor and Stuart England. The house opened as a museum in 1976 after much
restoration and displays explore the lives of those that have lived and
worked in Sheffield from 1500 to the present day.Free admission. Tel: 0114 2557701
