Here's a way to get involved in some interactivity via this site. Ex-Sheffielders are sharing memories of old Sheffield and chatting amongst each other on many different subjects. Anyone remember Coles Corner, Pond Street Nora, Hendersons Relish, trips to Cleethorpes on the club char-a', and many more? These are some of the subjects covered already. Here's your chance to chip in with your six-pennorth.

Gordon Bennett, ecky thump. I turned in last night after checking my ever-mounting messages, ..crikey lass we got 6 of 'em today, thaad think thid got nowt else to do but type messages (she's an American but trained in the romantic verbage of tykism). Well blow me down, not only did we have messages this morning from Sue et al .. we got 74 of em. Not a scerrick (smaller than a smidgeon) from kinfolk or local friends and kids, me dustbins flowin' over. It sure is great to hear from you all or y'all as they say in Dixie. E by gum Pond Street Nora. I swear it was a bloke. Rumours were rampant about her, him, it. She's a millionaire tha'nose, ..a bomm blew up and sent her looney....so many stories..

Thank you so much, Rob, for the gift you've given to all of us: a user-friendly and host-friendly environment in which to communicate with each other about all manner of things and especially all manner of things Sheffieldish. For me it has been a wonderful reminder of why I love Sheffield and Sheffielders.

The site is very good, I have been contacted several times, old school friends and family, some I have not seen in fifty years and some that have passed on, I will keep looking on this site, maybe I will find more friends.
